on the passenger side in dash above the light i am having trouble finding out what this electrical device.
gm has been unable to tell me what it is and it appears that there is a number missing or unreadable
if any one has any idea what this components useage is please contact me

If I'm not mistaken, the ECM is located under there. What does it look like and what size is it.

 

I believe it it is either the PASS Key module or light timer for the interior lights. Not a 100% sure, though. How many wires on the connector?
