Replacing Idler Tensioner Pulley
Hi Guys, thank you in advance for any help or suggestions offered!
2001 C5 basically stock LS1 with 80,000 miles, runs perfect, except for a now "squealing like a pack of pigs" Idler Tensioner Pulley
It does stop squealing after about 5 minutes of running
I did a search and didn't quite find what I was after, so apologize but a couple quick questions:
- Can the Pulley be serviced or only replaced?
- If must be replaced is there any upgrade available or just stay Chevy OEM ?
- How hard is it to replace, looks easily accessible, any tips?
- Should I replace the Belt at same time, if so any upgrade available or stay Chevy OEM?
- Anything else I should do at the same time?
Thanks again very much appreciated!
