Just purchase 2004 Z06 and went to Road America to learn the car. Going into high speed corner and down shifting from 4th to 3rd gear xmission locked out all gears. I had to stop car turn ignition off and restart, then xmission worked again. This happened every time I went into a high speed down shift. I was NOT in the competition mode. Any thoughts or info greatly appreciated

 

Welcome to the fourms. It sounds as if you are fighting the CAGS system. There is a lot of information on bypassing the system and going to manual mode.
