Only 900 miles on the 2021 C8.
The transmission hung up between shifts at about 45 mph and 4000 rpm then the engine light came on.
The service dept. said a line or solenoid needed cleaning.?? Took it home same problem.
Now he says it's the valve body and is in to change that.
He said he saw two others with this problem
Has anyone else seen this happen?

 

Welcome to the forum. From what I've seen on other forums, there have been a few issues with the transmission and I think there is a technical service bulletin out on some of them.

No loaner yet.
This is the 4th tome back to the service shop.
They finally got the parts in for the valve body change after the last on that came in was the wrong generation part.
Now when they opened it up the said they found debris in the trans.
He called GM and they want the whole transmission changed.
God knows when this will come in.
In Illinois we have this lemon law if the car is out of commission for over 30 days they have to get a new one or buy it back.
I don't really want that if I can get it fixed.
