Default 1995 Corvette Brake Pedal Sticks (6sp base)

My brake pedal doesnt come up that last like 1/4in to the top to disengage the brake lights without me putting my foot under it to help it. Last fall I had a new master cylinder and new fluid put in, but the problem still persists. Is there a place to buy the brake pedal assembly since there is no return spring to this setup?

Not sure what's supposed to return the brake pedal if there is no spring. All I could find online is that the master cylinder acts as the pedal return. So if you put in a new master cylinder and it's not returning, then you might check the master cylinder.

The new master cylinder left me in the exact same position as the stock one...

If it acts the same way there could be a problem with the brake booster or the brake pivot shaft hanging up. I believe they pivot on nylon bushings, not likely to bind. To check the booster and master cylinder for travel unbolt the booster from the firewall (and back the booster off maybe an inch or two) and see if that changes the travel issue.

We will try that. Thank you!
